Every hero is incomplete without an equally evil villain and every great story deserves a great villain. Everyone wants to see the hero but no one everyone forgets a great villain. Some of the best performances of Hollywood movies have been these evil characters and these actors did a much more memorable job than the main heroes.

Here is Just Flicky's list of top 10 villains ever. These performances have left viewers with wide open mouths and marked a special place for them. Check it out:


1. Dr. Hannibal Lecter

Dr. Hannibal Lecter's character was one of the most interesting in novels but in Anthony Hopkins's performance in To Kill a Mockingbird took it to the new heights of popularity. 



2. Darth Vader

This formar Jedi, turned to the dark side is one of the most popular characters of the world cinema. Voiced by the great James Earl Jones, Dart Vader is pure evil and best candidate to represent dark side. He is the one who brouht war and hell instead of peace and unlike other bad guys, he managed to the turn the fate around.


3. Joker

This character does not care about money or power and he is neither looking for some kind of revenge. He do what he wants to do. Or to put in his own words – He is the dog that chases cars. He wouldn't know what to do if he catches one. Heath Ledger did a fantastic job in the role of the laughing maniac in a funny suit.


4. Jack Torrance

Jack TorranceThe Shining was released in 1980 and after more than three decades the character of Jack Torrance still haunts the viewers. He was introduced as a grinning writer who is looking to finish his next novel in peace but this peace made him complete madman. Played by Jack Nicholson, Jack Torrance is one of the most badass villain of all time.


5. Norman Stansfield

Norman StansfieldPlayed by Gary Oldman, Norman Stansfield is probably the most cold hearted policemen played on screen. He killed an entire family for for just a trifle matter.



6. Hans Landa

Hans LandaThis role was going to Leonardo DiCaprio, but Quentin Tarantino decided to search for someone who can speak German and this is how Christoph Waltz ended up playing this iconic role. Accept it, Inglourious Basterds won't ever be as interesting without “The Jew Hunter”.



7. Bill The Butcher
